1. Introduction and Scope
Sunset Hotel Corfu aims to provide clear, accurate, and transparent information to guests with disabilities, reduced mobility, or other accessibility-related needs.
This Accessibility Statement describes the accessibility-related infrastructure currently available at the Hotel. It is based on the existing physical configuration of the Hotel and on the civil engineer’s certificate confirming the existence of accessibility infrastructure.
The only confirmed physical accessibility infrastructure currently available at the Hotel is the access ramp at the main entrance, as described below. This Statement does not constitute confirmation that the Hotel as a whole, or all of its rooms, bathrooms, toilets, common areas, outdoor areas, or services, are fully accessible.
2. Main Entrance Ramp
The Hotel has an access ramp at the main entrance.
According to the civil engineer’s certificate:
• the ramp covers a height difference of approximately 60 cm between the surrounding outdoor level and the ground floor level
• the ramp has a width of 1.20 m
• the ramp gradient does not exceed 5%
The ramp is intended to facilitate access to the main entrance area of the Hotel. The suitability of the ramp may depend on the guest’s individual mobility, wheelchair or mobility aid type, and any assistance required.
3. Facilities Not Currently Available
The Hotel does not currently provide specially adapted accessible rooms for persons with disabilities.
The Hotel does not currently provide specially adapted accessible bathrooms in guest rooms.
The Hotel does not currently provide a dedicated accessible toilet/WC for persons with disabilities.
Guests should not assume that room interiors, bathrooms, showers, toilets, balconies, corridors, common areas, pool areas, parking areas, or other facilities are suitable for wheelchair use or for specific accessibility needs unless this has been expressly confirmed in writing by the Hotel before booking.
4. Assistance by Hotel Staff
Hotel staff may provide reasonable practical assistance to guests with disabilities or reduced mobility where this is possible and compatible with safety, staffing, and the proper operation of the Hotel.
Such assistance may include practical guidance upon arrival and information about the available access route through the main entrance.
The Hotel does not provide medical care, personal care, lifting assistance, transfer assistance, or specialised mobility support. Guests who require such support should arrange appropriate assistance independently before arrival.
5. Website and Online Booking Accessibility
The Hotel aims to provide clear information through its website and online communication channels.
The Hotel’s website uses a third-party booking engine provided by BookOnlineNow.
If a guest experiences difficulty using the website, accessing information, or completing a booking online due to an accessibility-related issue, the guest may contact the Hotel directly by email or telephone, so that the Hotel can provide information or practical assistance through an alternative communication channel where possible.
The Hotel does not control all technical aspects of third-party platforms or booking systems, but will make reasonable efforts to assist guests who experience accessibility-related difficulties when using such systems.
6. Requests Before Booking or Arrival
Guests with accessibility-related requirements are advised to contact the Hotel before booking or before arrival, in order to confirm whether the available entrance ramp and existing facilities are suitable for their needs.
When contacting the Hotel, guests are encouraged to specify the practical information they need, such as wheelchair use, mobility aid type, assistance required upon arrival, or any other relevant requirement.
The Hotel will provide information based on the facilities available at the time of the request.

This Accessibility Statement may be updated in case of changes to the Hotel’s facilities, renovation works, a new technical certificate, changes to accessibility-related services, or changes in applicable legal requirements.
The version applicable at any time is the version published on the Hotel’s website.
